In Pictures: Preview of BOTH ENDS
Scenes from Wednesday’s preview of BOTH ENDS at Edel Assanti Project Space, curated by Proyetos Ultravioleta.
BOTH ENDS, a group show presenting interdisciplinary work by fourteen artists from Latin America.
BOTH ENDS is not a show about Latin America. It is not a show about London, or the UK, or Europe for that matter. It’s a study of cultural diffusion, interpretation and the relationships between countries and people. BOTH ENDS is an exercise in mutual understanding, an alliance of sorts that will allow us to understand ourselves better by studying the Other.

YOUNG BRITISH ART II: Ann-Marie James
Young British Art II opened at Dienstgebäude, Zurich on 9th February and is an exhibition of the work of 46 artists chosen by Ryan Gander.
The artists selected include painter Ann-Marie James, whose work is the subject of a show at Edel Assanti opening in March.
Young British Art II is unique in including only black and white works of art and in avoiding a thematic presentation of the work. As the curators claim: ‘any other meaning derived from it is purely circumstance or coincidence’.
For more information and a full list of the artists included click here.
Opening tonight: IMMORTAL NATURE, preview 7-9pm
